I thought this odd, but interesting. I hope Gaiman retains ownership of the character, though. What would be the point of finally winning Angela, and to then hand the property over to the work-made-for-hire Marvel/Disney?

Comics Is Comics / My guest editorial @ First Comics News...

Hello everybody,

In honor of Passover and Resurrection Day, First Comics News had asked me to write a "guest editorial." I briefly discuss the importance of comics and
it’s use in sharing the Gospel. (But, that bio on me is a bit dated.)

In their adventures, our heroes battle demons, zombies, a bunch of ninja, and other super-villains. And how will these superheroes cope when they must combat mythological villains such as Count Orlok or the Green Knight? If that ain’t enough, will our heroes be capable of locating Noah’s Ark?

Daniel 9:25-26 (New International Version): 25 "Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. 26 After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed."

AN ACT OF FAITH is an action/adventure and character-driven comic book aimed at a readership between that ages of ten-years-old to adult.

AN ACT OF FAITH will be a downloadable digital comic that can be purchased through iVerse Media, and read on tablets, smart phones, and computers. AN ACT OF FAITH #1 will be on sale in late February, with further issues available every six weeks thereafter.

AN ACT OF FAITH introduces readers Rebecca Stern as she begins her career as a superhero. What will happen when our young heroine joins forces with Nemish-Man, Kid-Cockroach, and Professor Jack in retrieving the Sword of Eden (the legendary sword used by angels to keep Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden). In their adventures, our heroes battle demons, zombies, a bunch of ninja, and other supervillains. And how will these superheroes cope when they must combat mythological villains such as Count Orlok or the Green Knight? If that ain’t enough, will our heroes be capable of locating Noah’s Ark?

Can’t wait for issue #1? Well, then check out AN ACT OF FAITH #0. Issue #0 is a webcomic prequel to the AN ACT OF FAITH comic book series. What will happen when Earth’s supreme superhero, Nihilist-Man, contemplates the validity of the Bible? If the Bible is true, then how can our hero be a "nihilist" man? Find out in AN ACT OF FAITH #0: "Nihilist-Man No More!" at www.anactoffaithcomic.com.

Creator's Rights Discussions / "Know your Creator Rights"
« on: November 12, 2012, 08:27:38 PM »
Here’s excellent article by Scott Kurtz concerning comic book creators, Creator's Rights, contracts, and publishers:

"Know your Creator Rights"

Although, I'm a bit more critical of comic book publishers and their history of immoral business practices.

Also, as Dave Sim stated in his Address to Pro/Con: "There are several hard and universal truths about companies that you already know, but which, I think, need to be stated here. The most important is that if you sign a contract you have lost control of the work in question."
