For three years, I was fortunate to have Will Eisner as an instructor during my college days at the School of Visual Arts. I was able find and now post a copy of Will’s Sequential Art course outline.

I’ve told this many times before… my earliest memory of Will Eisner was when he said in class (September 1986), "I think comic books are far more than two mutants trashing each other." I was always a bit intimidated to show Will my work in class. However, one of the nicest things Will ever said to me after reviewing some of my artwork was "You have a nice line." Now, this was the greatest thing for an aspiring comic book inker to hear from one of his heroes. Will Eisner is greatly missed.

The School of Visual Art’s Spring 2009 edition of the VISUAL ARTS JOURNAL includes an article titled "Enduring Spirit: Will Eisner." I posted more info about the article at the P.I.C. News blog.
